About Us
We are a community-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the students of Field Local Schools. Our mission is to foster a sense of unity and pride, enhance the quality of their school experience, and provide meaningful support to both students and athletes within the Field Local Schools community.
Our Mission
The Big Red Community Foundation is the only organization dedicated to fully supporting the students of Field Local Schools — the Falcon community — in every part of their lives.
On the field, we proudly support athletics from youth through high school by sponsoring youth teams and ensuring our older athletes have the resources, equipment, and opportunities they need to succeed.
In the classroom, we invest directly in our schools by funding classroom needs, school supplies, and educational programs — from whiteboards and materials to building-wide support initiatives.
At home, we stand beside Falcons in need by providing winter coats, shoes, toiletries, food assistance, and essential support throughout the year — especially during the holidays.
We believe in supporting the whole child — in the classroom, on the field, and at home.
The Big Red Fund
Originally "The Big Red Fund", we were established in 2010 by Parents, Community Members, Alumni, Teachers and Coaches that wanted to raise funds to support the long term betterment of our Athletic Facilities through private fundraising.
With athletic funding on the decline, and athletic facilities at the bottom of the list, our group has made it a priority to raise funds so our student athletes have access to safe equipment and facilities.
Our first endeavor was the Field High School track, having completed that we went on to raise funds for Track equipment. Our next focus was the bleachers in the High School gymnasium. We were able to purchase used bleachers, bringing our gymnasium seating up to code and making them handicapped accessible. We have also helped the majority of the teams purchase various equipment and uniforms they need. In the 16 years since the Big Red Fund was established we have raised over $700,000 for the Student Athletes at Field Local schools, but we are not stopping there....
The Big Red Fund laid the foundation for The Big Red Community Foundation.

Homecoming Barbecue
Enjoy a delicious meal prepared by Joe’s Barbecue of Brimfield while cheering on the Field Falcons as they take on the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers. Meals may be ordered for carryout beginning at 5:00 PM, or you can dine under the Big Red tent and enjoy the full game-night atmosphere.
Gates open at 6:00 PM, kickoff is at 7:00 PM, and meals will be served until 8:00 PM. Please remember that anyone dining in must purchase a ticket to the football game.
