Big Red Scholarship

The Big Red Scholarship is awarded to Field High School Seniors  who demonstrate exceptional achievement in one or more of these areas:


  • Education: exhibit a profound dedication to academic excellence, innovative thinking, and a thirst for knowledge.
  • Athletics: excel in sports, embodying the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. 
  • Volunteerism: Those who selflessly give back to their communities, displaying compassion, leadership, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

The Alumni Scholarship is awarded to deserving Field High School Seniors who have had one or both parents attend Field High School.  The Big Red Community Foundation, having been founded by Field Alumni, recognize the family ties that hold our schools and community together.  


The Big Red Alumni Award proudly honors the remarkable achievements and contributions of Field High School seniors who exemplify the true essence of the Falcon Community. This prestigious award is presented to individuals who embody the spirit of unity, leadership, and service, leaving an indelible mark on both their school and the wider community

The Legacy Award is our way of acknowledging that generations of family members have passed through the halls at Field High School.  By continuing to cherish and celebrate these connections, we are not only preserving a legacy but also strengthening the sense of community and togetherness that makes Field High School and The Big Red Community Foundation such a cherished institutions.

The Legacy Award is presented to a deserving Senior of which both parents have attended Field High School.

The David Irland Memorial Scholarship Fund

The David Irland Memorial Scholarship Fund stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of an extraordinary educator. Established in loving memory of Mr. I, this scholarship honors his dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to shaping the minds and hearts of countless students.

As a beloved teacher, Mr. I inspired not only through his teaching subject matter but also through his compassion, empathy, and belief in the potential of every student. 

His classroom was not just a place of learning but also a safe haven where students felt encouraged to explore, question, and grow.

The scholarship fund seeks to carry forward Mr. I's spirit by providing financial support to deserving students who exemplify the values he cherished. Through this fund, we aim to empower future generations to pursue their academic and personal aspirations, just as Mr. Irland did for so many.

With each scholarship awarded, Mr. Irland's impact continues to ripple outward, touching the lives of students who will carry his legacy forward with pride and gratitude.
